Teaching Personnel are currently looking for a 1:1 teacher who can assist a child in care. 

Hours: Between 9am - 3pm, 5 days per week, hours can be negotiated 
Location: NN6, Long Buckby, Northamptonshire
Role: 1:1 Teaching of Core Subjects
Year 10 pupil

  • Child in Care. He has significant attachment difficulties which lead to SEMH behaviours. He struggles with building and maintaining relationships due to breakdown of significant relationships.
  • His long-term matched foster placement broke down last year. He has been in his current placement since October 2023 and he has built good relationships with staff there.
  • Currently EHC team are trying to identify a suitable specialist education provision, however, it is taking a significant amount of time due to lack of suitable placements and he will receive 1-1 teaching.
  • He is academically very able, however, due to his SEMH needs he has not suitably accessed the curriculum and is working below his target grades across all subject areas.

We are looking for a dedicated, patient and experienced teacher who has a background in either tuitin or Special Educational Needs.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
