We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Art & Design Technology Teacher to join a thriving SEN school in Liverpool. This is a full-time, temporary-to-permanent position offering an exciting opportunity for a talented educator to make a meaningful impact on the lives of children with special educational needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach Art at Key Stage 3 and GCSE levels
  • Deliver engaging Design Technology lessons at Key Stage 3
  • Lead Hospitality & Catering at BTEC Level 1/2
  • Adapt teaching strategies to meet the diverse needs of students with special educational needs
  • Provide a nurturing, supportive, and inclusive classroom environment
  • Set high expectations for student achievement and personal development
  • Foster creativity, practical skills, and independence in all learners

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Experience working with children with special educational needs
  • A strong background in Art and Design Technology
  • Empathetic, resilient, and able to inspire students to reach their full potential
  • Able to maintain high standards of classroom management and pastoral care
  • Committed to professional development and contributing to the wider school community

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
