Job responsibilities:

  • Support students in managing their behaviour and developing positive coping strategies.
  • Provide one-on-one or group mentoring sessions to students exhibiting challenging behaviours.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents/guardians, and external professionals to implement behaviour intervention plans.
  • Monitor and track student progress, adjusting support strategies as needed.
  • Create and maintain a safe and supportive learning environment for all students.

The ideal candidate will:

  • Have experience working with students with behavioural challenges in an educational setting.
  • Possess strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with students, staff, and parents/guardians.
  • Demonstrate patience, empathy, and resilience in managing challenging situations.
  • Be able to implement behaviour management techniques and de-escalation strategies effectively.
  • Have a passion for supporting the social and emotional well-being of students.
