Teaching Personnel is seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Computer Science Teacher to join our dedicated faculty in a school in south Bristol. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in computer science and a genuine enthusiasm for sharing their expertise with students. Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Planning outstanding lessons that meet the needs of all students whilst developing a high-quality programme of study that includes accurate target setting
  • Monitor and report on the progress of students and take appropriate action to ensure all students achieve their potential through exceptional methods of feedback.
  • Meeting the needs of learners from key identified groups, including pupil premium, SEND and high attaining students.
  • Recognize, value and support the delivery of opportunities which extend beyond the confines of classroom delivery and seek to enrich and add value to the student experience & learning.
  • Empowered to develop your own expert practice and support the development of others.

The successful candidate will need to:

  • Hold a relevant degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • Possess qualified teacher status (QTS) or equivalent certification.
  • Demonstrate a strong knowledge of the national curriculum and current trends in computer science education.
  • Have experience teaching computer science at the secondary level (desirable but not essential for NQTs)
  • Exhibit excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Show enthusiasm for the subject and a commitment to delivering exceptional education.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
