Cover Supervisor

Temporary to permanent contract from September 2024

We are seeking to appoint a reliable, conscientious, and hard-working Cover Supervisor. You will undertake cover supervision for whole classes and manage the behaviour and conduct of pupils whilst undertaking the work set, to ensure a constructive learning environment. You will also work collaboratively with the teacher in meeting the personal, social and curriculum related needs of pupils, including those with special needs and/or bilingual needs.

You should:

· Have Level 2 or equivalent qualification in English/Literacy and Mathematics/Numeracy.

· Have experience of working with young people in a relevant classroom/service environment.

· Be able to relate well to children.

· Have knowledge of classroom roles and responsibilities.

· Have the ability to be extremely flexible in order to adapt to changing priorities and to respond to changing needs on a day-to-day basis.

Hours of work - 30 hours 50 mins per week (over 5 days) and term time only.
