This thriving secondary school is currently looking for a Cover Supervisor to start from September. This is an exciting opportunity that is suitable for Early Career Teachers (ECT) as well as Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). With the school’s flexibility, they can provide the opportunity for a full or part time position depending on your preferences. This role is specifically term-time only and salary would be dependent based on experience.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing students’ behaviour during lessons
  • Offer your undivided attention throughout lessons
  • Delivering pre planned lessons to students in the absence of the class teacher
  • Providing support and commitment to students to benefit their education
  • Assist with other duties that may be required, including administrative tasks and supporting school events.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Previous experience working in an educational setting is desirable but not essential
  •  Capable to teach at Key stage 3 & Key stage 4 level
  • Hold a level 3 qualification (A level, BTEC or equivalent)
