One of our Rochdale based secondary schools we are currently working with are looking to recruit an enthusiastic cover supervisor to join their school.

You will be supporting the school across a range of departments covering lessons and supporting teachers where required. You will be required to support lessons up to 30 student, providing them with pre-planned work and supervising behaviour within the classroom.

This us a full-time position starting this September.

This is a great opportunity for aspiring teachers, wanting to gain experience in education before starting their PGCE.

We are looking for a dedicated individual who is ready to positively motivate students learning and engagement in their lessons. The school is based in Oldham, therefore ideal for anyone living in surrounding areas. Although, with the M62 and popular bus routes close by it isn’t a struggle to get to.

Key responsibilities:

•             Supervising work that has been set by the teacher

•             Responding to any questions the students may have

•             Dealing with any immediate problems of emergencies

•             Collecting any completed work after the lesson and returning it to the appropriate teacher

This role would be perfect for anyone interested in the teaching industry, even if you currently have no experience. Graduates would have great success with this also, as we offer a ‘grow your own teachers programme’ with most of our schools. If you have an interest in teaching, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.
