Teaching Personnel are looking for a passionate and energetic individual to join the team to deliver and create engaging Design Technology lessons and implement UK Curriculum plans to help support the learning and development of Secondary School Students in Lincolnshire. 

 

Location: East Midlands, Lincolnshire, Sleaford

Job Type: Permanent, expected to work Full-Time hours

Salary: £160 - £200 Per day

  • Plan, prepare and deliver engaging Design Technology lessons to students
  • Assess and evaluate student progress, providing feedback and support to help them achieve their learning objectives
  • Develop and implement curriculum plans in line with educational guidelines
  • Supervise practical work and ensure a safe and productive learning environment
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the overall learning experience
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Degree in Design Technology or related field
  • Enhanced DBS check

Bachelor’s degree in Design Technology or a related field

Previous experience teaching Design Technology at secondary school level

  • Strong understanding of Design Technology curriculum and teaching methods
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to motivate and engage students in the learning process
  • Organisational skills and the ability to manage classroom dynamics effectively
  • Postgraduate qualification in Education or Design Technology
  • Experience using technology in the classroom to enhance learning

The Design Technology Teacher will work in a school environment, following the academic calendar and timetable. The role may involve some additional responsibilities such as extracurricular activities or parent meetings.
