Education and Training

£20 - £30 per hour

  • Provide tailored English and Maths tutoring to Key Stage 3 students with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
  • Create engaging and accessible learning materials to support student learning
  • Assess students' abilities and develop personalised learning plans
  • Monitor student progress and adjust teaching methods accordingly
  • Collaborate with parents, teachers, and support staff to ensure holistic support for students

A relevant teaching qualification

Experience working with SEN students

Knowledge of the KS3 English and Maths curriculum

Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field

Proven experience in tutoring or teaching English and Maths to students with SEN

  • Strong understanding of SEN teaching strategies
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to adapt teaching methods to suit individual student needs
  • Organisational skills to manage student progress and learning materials

Additional training in SEN education

Experience in working within a school setting

This role involves working with students in an educational setting, with regular hours and potential for additional support and training

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
