TP Tutors are working alongside Northumberland Local Authority to recruite a tutor who can provide support to students with maths and English. We currently need a tutor to deliver maths and English tuition to 2 KS3 students, who currently do not have a school placement, for 9 hours per week.   

About The Role:

  • Immediate start!
  • 1:1 tuition – at a venue in Cramlington
  • 2 x 1.5 hour sessions 3 days per week
  • Plan and deliver your own engaging, tailored sessions
  • Maths and English tuition and quite often SEMH support
  • Provide detailed feedback via our online learning platform

Who Are We Looking For:

  • Tutors experienced working with students who require emotional support
  • Tutors confident communicating with local authorities and parents
  • Ability to plan, produce and deliver engagaing sessions in low level English and Maths

Requirements:

  • Teaching with QTS or substantial tutoring experience of the National Curriculum
  • Experience working with students with SEMH needs
  • Valid Child Workforce only DBS on the update service

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
