A highly reputable Catholic High School in Ipswich, Suffolk, is seeking a dedicated and meticulous Exams Officer to join their esteemed team. This permanent position is available from September 2024 or sooner, providing an excellent opportunity for an organised professional to contribute to the academic success and smooth operation of the school's examination processes.

Role:
As the Exams Officer, you will:
*Manage the administration of all internal and external examinations, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and guidelines.
*Liaise with examination boards, school staff, students, and parents to coordinate exam schedules, entries, and results.
*Oversee the secure storage and handling of examination materials.
*Organise and manage the invigilation team, including recruitment, training, and scheduling.
*Ensure accurate and timely submission of examination entries and coursework.
*Handle the dissemination of results and certificates to students.
*Maintain accurate records of examination data and provide reports as required.
*Stay up-to-date with changes in examination regulations and ensure the school adheres to best practices.

Requirements:

Proven experience in an administrative role, preferably within an educational setting.
*
Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
*
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
*
Ability to manage multiple tasks and work under pressure to meet deadlines.
*
Proficiency in using relevant IT systems and software, including MS Office.
*
A proactive approach to problem-solving and a high level of initiative.
*
Understanding of the examination processes and regulations (experience as an Exams Officer is highly desirable).
*
A commitment to the ethos and values of the Catholic education system.
