Due to a surge in demand, Teaching Personnel is actively seeking GCSE Maths, English, and Science Tutors across Bramcote (NG9) and nearby regions. Candidates must possess confidence in tutoring at least one core subject up to GCSE level, coupled with relevant experience in supporting students in these areas.

The pupils we assist exhibit diverse needs, including:

  • Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) such as Autism and learning difficulties
  • Children in Care requiring catch-up tuition due to educational gaps or absence
  • School refusals
  • Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs spanning from anxiety to severe mental health conditions
  • Asylum Seekers
  • Excluded students

We seek compassionate and patient educators, whether retired professionals seeking part-time engagement or teachers aiming to extend their impact beyond traditional classrooms. Our tutoring primarily occurs on a one-on-one basis in students' homes, considering that many are currently outside the traditional schooling system. Sessions range from one hour to twenty hours per week.

Applicants must possess experience in tutoring, either individually or in small groups, and be adept at identifying areas where targeted intervention is necessary.

Access to personal transportation is advantageous, given the requirement to travel between student locations.

Required Skills:

  • Preferably a qualified teacher with QTS or equivalent certification
  • Alternatively, experienced tutors are welcome
  • Ability to confidently plan and deliver lessons, along with resource preparation
