A client primary school in the Blackpool (FY2), are in search of a core subject graduate to join their KS1 team on a full time basis starting in September 2024. The successful TA will work in one of the schools Year 2 classes and will support across all curriculum areas. The ideal educator will have prior experience working with children and will have a desire to develop their career in a ‘GOOD’ Primary School.

The post is a full time and will start in the new academic year, September 2024 and will run for the full academic year with the opportunity for a permanent appointment. 

The successful candidate will be expected deliver small group intervention sessions to help raise attainment across all core subject areas across the class.  The successful applicant will be working alongside the Year 2 teacher to monitor progression and highlight next steps for learning.  This larger than average primary school prides itself on ‘making learning accessible for all children’ and would be an amazing place for a graduate to begin their career in education. 

The ideal candidate will:

- Hold a degree in a core subject.

- At least 6 months experience working with children. 

- A desire to develop their career in education

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
