Teaching Personnel are seeking a passionate and dedicated History Graduate to join our team as a Teaching Assistant at our client school in Manchester. This is an excellent opportunity for 2024 graduates to gain classroom experience, especially if you are considering starting a career in education.  The successful candidate will work closely with the History department to support the teaching and learning of history to students across different year groups. This role offers an excellent opportunity for a recent History graduate to gain valuable experience in the education sector and contribute to the academic development of young learners.

Key information:

This will be a full-time role.

Start date- 2nd of September 2024.

Salary- Up to £500 per week.

Responsibilities:

  • Assisting history teachers in preparing and delivering lessons
  • Providing one-on-one or small group support to students
  • Helping to create educational resources and materials.
  • Supporting with grading and assessment of student work
  • Contributing to extracurricular history-related activities

Requirements:

  • A degree in History or a related field
  • Strong passion for history and education
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Enthusiasm for supporting students’ academic progress.
