Location: Prescot, Merseyside
Position: Primary Intervention Teacher
Contract: Part-time, Monday to Friday (4 days per week)
Salary: Competitive, based on experience

As a Primary Intervention Teacher, you will play a crucial role in supporting students who require additional help to achieve their academic goals. You will work closely with classroom teachers, support staff, and parents to develop and implement tailored intervention strategies that meet the unique needs of each child.

  • Identify students who need extra support through assessments and teacher referrals.
  • Develop and deliver individualised learning plans that address specific areas of need.
  • Provide targeted instruction in small groups or one-on-one settings.
  • Monitor and evaluate student progress, adjusting interventions as needed.
  • Collaborate with classroom teachers to integrate intervention strategies into daily lessons.
  • Communicate effectively with parents and caregivers to provide updates on student progress and involve them in the intervention process.
  • Maintain detailed records of interventions and student outcomes.
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Proven experience in teaching at the primary level, with a focus on intervention strategies.
  • Strong understanding of various learning needs and effective intervention techniques.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
