  • Provide one-on-one tutoring in English and Maths to Key Stage 3 students
  • Create tailored lesson plans to address individual learning needs
  • Assess student progress and adjust teaching methods accordingly
  • Provide constructive feedback to students and their parents/guardians
  • Maintain accurate records of student attendance and performance
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience teaching English and Maths at Key Stage 3 level
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to motivate and engage students

Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant field

Minimum of 2 years teaching experience at Key Stage 3 level

  • Solid understanding of the Key Stage 3 curriculum for English and Maths
  • Ability to differentiate instruction to meet diverse learning needs
  • Strong classroom management skills
  • Postgraduate qualification in Education
  • Experience with online tutoring platforms
  • Part-time hours, flexibility in scheduling sessions
  • Work may involve travel to student's homes or educational institutions
  • Adherence to safeguarding policies and procedures

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
