  • Provide support to the classroom teacher in delivering lessons and managing student behaviour
  • Assist with the implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs) for students with special educational needs (SEN)
  • Offer reading and writing support to students who require additional assistance
  • Support the teacher in maintaining classroom discipline and encouraging positive behaviour
  • Assist in the preparation of teaching materials and resources
  • Supervise students during break times and off-site activities
  • Monitor students' progress and provide feedback to the classroom teacher
  • Collaborate with other teaching assistants and school staff to create a supportive learning environment
  • Attend staff meetings and training sessions as required
  • Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification
  • Prior experience as a Level 3 Teaching Assistant or similar role
  • Experience working with students with special educational needs (SEN)
  • Knowledge of KS1 and KS2 curriculum
  • Strong understanding of SEN support strategies
  • Proficient in providing reading and writing support
  • Excellent behavioural management skills
  • Ability to effectively manage a classroom environment
  • Familiarity with KS1 and KS2 curriculum
  • Additional qualifications in special educational needs (SEN) support
  • Training in behaviour management techniques
  • Temporary position with full-time hours
  • Work within a school setting

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
