Are you an inspiring and adaptable Maths Teacher looking for a rewarding role? A specialist provision in Colne is seeking a dedicated Maths Teacher to join their team starting in October.

This small provision supports pupils with additional needs, including SEN and Autism, offering a trauma-informed approach to education. The school provides a nurturing environment where students can thrive both academically and emotionally.

Role Overview:

  • Pay: Dependent on skills and experience
  • Contract: Full-time/Part-time (flexibility available)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and tailored Maths lessons to pupils with varying abilities
  • Support students with SEN and additional needs in overcoming barriers to learning
  • Implement trauma-informed strategies to foster a positive learning environment
  • Collaborate with the wider school team to meet the holistic needs of each pupil

The Ideal Candidate Will:

  • Be a qualified Maths Teacher (QTS or equivalent)
  • Have experience working with students with SEN and/or additional needs
  • Be passionate about inclusive education and trauma-informed practice
  • Be patient, empathetic, and committed to supporting every pupil’s growth
