Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting for a Psychology Graduate to join one of our client schools in Darlington as a Teaching Assistant. This position will start in September at the start of the academic year, it is a full-time role.
The pay for this position is between £385 and £450 per week.
This position is highly important and will come will a lot of responsibility. The successful candidate with be working alongside students who have additional educational requirements. You must be fully aware of Special Educational Needs (SEN), as well as Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) and the impact that this can have on a child’s behaviour. These behavioural traits include anti-social behaviour, anxiety, and a withdrawn attitude. You will be working with small groups of students to support them with their additional learning requirements.

For this position, it is essential that you are a recent Psychology Graduate, looking to start a career in education. You must be willing to apply for a fully enhanced DBS check and be able to provide at least two employment references.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
