Secondary Tutor

Location: England, Greater London, Richmond

Job Type: Temporary, Part-Time

Salary: £20 - £25 Per hour

Required Skills: SEN experience

• Provide individualised instruction to secondary school students in the subject areas assigned
• Develop and implement lesson plans that meet the individual needs and abilities of students
• Assess and evaluate student progress and adjust teaching methods accordingly
• Communicate effectively with students, parents, and school staff regarding student progress and support needed
• Collaborate with other educators and support staff to create a positive learning environment

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualification
• Experience working with students with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
• Demonstrated ability to differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of students

A degree in Education or a related field

Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience in a secondary school setting

• Strong understanding of the secondary school curriculum
• Ability to create engaging and interactive learning experiences
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Effective classroom management techniques

This is a part-time, temporary position with flexible hours. The work environment will be in a secondary school setting in Richmond, Greater London. The role may require occasional evening or weekend work to accommodate student needs.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
