SEN Classroom Assistant

We are recruiting on behalf of a large client in Penarth who are looking for a SEN Classroom Assistant to work in school on a full-time basis supporting learners with additional needs.

We are looking for a SEN Classroom Assistant that is committed to a full-time position between the hours of 8.30am-3.30pm Monday to Friday.

Role

 As a classroom assistant you will work with learners with additional needs including Autism, Downs Syndrome, ADHD, Sensory Impairments, and Behavioural Needs. We are looking for someone that is confident working with children and able to build bonds with learners quickly.

Details

Location: Penarth (3-19 Special School)

Full Time: Monday to Friday (No weekend work)

Hours: 8.30am – 3.30pm

Contracts are available for those performing well!

During the vetting process you will be required to apply/ provide for:

Enhanced DBS

Register with the Education Workforce Council

2 Employment references

Safeguarding Level 2 qualification – Free through Teaching Personnel
