A highly reputable Multi-Academy Trust (MAT) is seeking qualified SEN Teachers to join the permanent staff list of one of its esteemed schools in Willingham. This is an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact on the lives of students with special educational needs and to grow professionally within a well-regarded institution.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality teaching and learning experiences tailored to meet the diverse needs of students with SEN.
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and support students in achieving their academic and personal goals.
  • Work collaboratively with parents, carers, and other professionals to ensure a holistic approach to student development.
  • Participate in continuous professional development and contribute to the school's inclusive culture and ethos.
  • Maintain accurate records and provide regular feedback on student progress.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent, with a specialism in SEN.
  • Proven experience working with students with a range of special educational needs, including but not limited to autism spectrum disorder (ASD), ADHD, and learning difficulties.
  • Strong understanding of the SEN Code of Practice and current best practices in SEN education.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • A compassionate and patient approach, with a genuine commitment to supporting the educational and emotional well-being of students.
  • The ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to undergo one prior to appointment).
