Salary: £20 - £25 Per hour

We are currently seeking a dedicated SEN Tutor to join our team in Wokingham, Berkshire. As an SEN Tutor, you will be responsible for providing specialised educational support to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN). Your primary focus will be on creating individualised learning plans, implementing teaching strategies tailored to each student's needs, and monitoring progress throughout the tutoring sessions.

  • Develop and implement personalised learning plans for students with SEN
  • Deliver one-on-one tutoring sessions based on individual student needs
  • Utilise various teaching strategies and resources to support student learning
  • Assess student progress and adjust teaching methods accordingly
  • Communicate effectively with students, parents, and school staff regarding student progress
  • Experience working with students with SEN
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet individual student needs

A relevant teaching qualification

Prior experience working with students with SEN

  • Understanding of SEN educational practises
  • Ability to create and implement individualised learning plans
  • Excellent communication skills

This position is part-time, with flexible hours. The SEN Tutor will work closely with students, parents, and school staff in a supportive educational environment.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
