The SEN Tutor will be responsible for providing specialised support and instruction to students with special educational needs. Duties include assessing students' needs, developing tailored learning plans, delivering lessons, monitoring progress, and collaborating with teachers and parents to ensure students' academic and personal development.

A relevant teaching qualification and experience in working with students with special educational needs.

A degree in Education or relevant field.

Prior experience working with students with special educational needs.

Demonstrated understanding of various special educational needs, ability to adapt teaching methods to individual students, excellent communication skills, patience, and empathy.

The SEN Tutor will work in a classroom setting, collaborating with teachers, parents, and other professionals. Part-time hours may vary. The role may involve some travel to different educational institutions within the region.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
