SEN Teaching Assistant New

Job:

A friendly and welcoming school in South Bristol is looking for a dynamic teaching assistant to join them until the end of the academic year.

Salary:

£84 - £95 Per day

Job Duties:

• Supporting classroom activities under the direction of the teacher,
• Delivering interventions to small groups of children, 
• Providing one-on-one support to students as needed,
• Supervising students during lessons and breaks,
• Helping to maintain a safe and inclusive learning environment.

Required Qualifications:

• GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths
• Previous experience working with children or in an educational setting
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Education:

Minimum of GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths

Experience:

Previous experience working with children or in an educational setting

Knowledge and Skills:

• Understanding of classroom dynamics and educational practises
• Ability to provide support and assistance to students of varying abilities
• Strong organisational skills

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
