A highly reputable SEN school in Reading is seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join their permanent staff from January 2025. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to a supportive learning environment for students with special educational needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support teachers in delivering tailored educational programs.
  • Assist students with daily activities and personal care as needed.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive atmosphere.
  • Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to monitor student progress.

Requirements:

  • Experience working with children with special educational needs, preferably in a school setting.
  • Relevant qualifications, such as a Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to demonstrate patience, empathy, and adaptability.
  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
