Job Title: Trainee Teaching Assistant

Location: Cardiff, Wales

Pay: £83.85 per day

Hours: Monday – Friday 8:30-3:30

Start: As soon as vetting has complete 

We are currently seeking a passionate and dedicated individual to join a team as a Trainee Teaching Assistant in a primary school in Cardiff. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is looking to kick-start their career in education and gain valuable experience working with children.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the class teacher with all aspects of classroom management and teaching
• Support individual students with their learning and development
• Help to create a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students
• Assist with planning and delivering lessons, as well as preparing teaching materials

Requirements:

• A genuine passion for working with children
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Willingness to learn and develop new skills
• Reliable and punctual
• Previous experience working with children is desirable but not essential
• An enhanced child workforce DBS registered on the update service
• Register on the Education Workforce Council (EWC)
• Provide 24 months of references

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
