Your Guide to Bett Show 2021

Bett Show is back at ExCel London on 20th January 2021. If you are a teacher, student or educational professional then this event should be top of your list of priorities. Discover the innovations in the education technology sector and so much more in this guide to Bett Show 2021.

Introduction

The events industry is on Red Alert. If you have been following the news you may have seen the #WeMakeEvents protests that took place across the country. It’s safe to say that thousands of venues, organisers and suppliers have been facing the most difficult period in decades.

But there is good news.

Live events are allowed to restart on October 1st.

This is great news for the events industry. But it’s even better news for the millions of people that attend festivals, weddings, gigs, business events and so many more every year.

The best thing about live events getting the go-ahead is that Bett Show will be back. Hopefully for another record-breaking year.

In January 2020 I attended Bett Show at ExCel London with my colleagues. My company, Quadrant2Design, design and install custom modular exhibition stands at UK and EU events. We visited the show to see some of our stands and chat with clients. I have attended several shows with my team. To this day I believe the Bett Show was the most valuable event I have attended.

Despite not being an educator, or having any professional association with the industry, Bett Show is a must-attend for me.

Education professionals such as yourselves will benefit from attending Bett Show. Whether you are in the market for new suppliers, looking to educate yourself on innovative teaching solutions and virtual learning solutions, or just want to network with other industry professionals.

Bett Show is the event for you.

What is Bett Show?

Bett Show brings together a global audience of educators to discover industry innovations and celebrate their sector. The event was a huge success in January 2020, attracting over 600 exhibitors and 36,000 visitors in three days.

Hyve Group, who organise Bett Show, have recently signed a long-term deal with ExCel London off the back of 2020’s success. This means we can expect the event to return every January for years to come.

The event brings together leading educators with buying power who are looking for a new supplier. Businesses that provide innovative solutions to this sector have a unique opportunity to showcase their product or service to a highly targeted audience.

When is Bett Show 2021?

Bett Show takes place in January every year. It is the first and largest education technology show of the year.

The next Bett Show will take place at ExCel London on 20-22 January 2021. The daily opening times for the three-day event are as follows:

Wednesday 20 January | 10.00 – 18.00

Thursday 21 January | 10.00 – 20.00

Friday 22 January | 10.00 – 17.00

Who should visit Bett Show 2021?

If you work in the education sector, Bett Show will likely have something of value to offer you. Many exhibitors are there to introduce visitors to new products or services that have entered the market.

In some areas, such as in the Learning Tech zone, the products and services on offer are aimed at students. Children are welcome to attend Bett Show as long as an adult accompanies them.

Who should exhibit at Bett Show 2021?

If your business offers a product or service that could benefit a teacher, student or school then you should consider exhibiting at Bett Show.

The event brings together professionals from across the education technology industry who are actively looking for a new supplier. It is the perfect opportunity to generate leads and increase brand awareness.

Bett Show 2021 is divided into five solution zones to offer even more value to exhibitors. This means that you know visitors are in the market for a product just like yours.

5 Solution Zones

Bett Show has made it easier for exhibitors and visitors alike by separating the events floor plan into five Solution Zones. They have dedicated each area to a business category – for example, a VLE provider would be best suited in the Teaching Tech zone.

This is great for two reasons:

  • Visitors know where to find the products and services that they are interested in

  • Exhibitors can generate more leads from a closely targeted audience segment

Overall, the 5 Solution Zones add more value to the Bett Show for everyone. Keep reading to find out more about the five different categories.

Management Solutions

This zone encompasses the businesses whose products solve business issues rather than day to day learning. The products and services found in the Management Solutions Zone provide resolutions for a whole school, not just a classroom. These are businesses providing education-sector tailored answers to:

  • Leadership/Management

  • School Visitor Management

  • IT Services

  • Attendance Management

  • And many more...

Equipment & Hardware

This zone allows companies to display the tangible goods that we need for the day to day running of a school or classroom. This could be anything from canteen furniture to new monitors for the computer room. Educators and decision-makers must check out this zone to see the latest innovations and gather inspiration.

Teaching Tech

If you provide teachers with a product or service to make their lives easier, or you are a teacher who wants a bit more free time on their hands, the Teaching Tech zone is worth a visit.

In this zone, you will find products and services that enhance the teaching experience such as:

  • Distance Learning

  • VLE

  • Achievement Monitoring

  • Learning Management Systems

Learning Tech

We all know that students learn in different ways. In the Learning Tech zone, you’ll find products that are carefully designed for every pupil, whatever their learning style.

Exhibitors can display a range of products/tools/apps/software that are directly catering to learning and development. The overall aim of this zone is to make learning easier.

Global Showcase

The Global Showcase zone houses the traditional country pavilions that make an impression every year at Bett Show London. This includes UAE; Egypt; DIT; and Business France Etc.

If you provide service or support to the overall education industry as opposed to individual schools, teachers or students, you will likely exhibit in this zone. As well as country pavilions, the Global Showcase zone features associations, accelerators and international collectives including non-profit organisations.

Bett Show 2021 Exhibitor List

Covid-19: Safety First at Bett Show

As you know, the events industry has struggled over the past six months. We have a restart date. Great news. But to bring back live events and mass gatherings, event organisers have to show that they can follow social distancing policies.

Hyve Group, who organiser Bett Show every year, have stepped up to the plate. With safety being the number one priority, they have laid out a set of guidelines that show you how they are managing to put on a physical event.

This information will show you that Bett Show 2021 has been meticulously planned. With huge brands already signed up as exhibitors, the following Covid-19 guidelines will prove that Bett Show 2021 will be a valuable event. Definitely worth attending.

Social Distancing

The organisers will be monitoring the people who attend the event from the build-up days. Exhibition stand installers will be given a set of guidelines to follow, and visitors will notice staggered admission times.

There will be a strict no handshake policy in place throughout the event. Hyve Group will also monitor capacity and limit the number of visitors per day if social distancing can’t be followed.

Private meeting areas and social spaces will be set up according to a social distancing policy. As a visitor, you can rest assured that every care has been taken to keep you safe.

Protect and Detect

If you develop any symptoms, such as a high temperature or loss of smell, you should not attend Bett Show 2021. Hyve Group is introducing additional measures to ensure the safety of visitors, staff and exhibitors.

Face coverings are essential in communal areas. Everyone should bring one with them to Bett Show. Staff will be offering masks and gloves upon request.

Sneeze guards will be positioned in face-to-face communication areas to ensure you can still do business in a safe environment.

Track and trace monitoring will be in place throughout Bett Show 2021. Your details will be kept on record for 21 days. The organisers will update you on any developments and advise you of what to do if someone at the event reports symptoms.

Cleaning and Hygiene

The organisers will be working with the venue to ensure additional cleaning is in place. Public areas will regularly be sanitised to prevent the spread of germs.

Additional hygiene stations will be positioned around the venue with hand sanitising facilities. Signposting will remind visitors to wash their hands more frequently and follow the social distancing guidelines.

Communication

Hyve Group is committed to Bett Show and wants to ensure nobody misses an important update about the event or requirements.

They will continually update their website, social media, exhibition magazines, and other platforms. Visitors and exhibitors will be kept up to date throughout event preparation. Additional signage will also be positioned throughout the venue.

How will this affect your experience?

It won’t.

The Covid-19 safety measures have been put in place to ensure you can enjoy the event with peace of mind. Bett Show will run as normal and you will benefit from attending.

Bett Show 2021: Speaker Sessions

As well as keeping up to date with industry innovations, product launches and breakthrough startups, Bett Show offers the perfect opportunity to enhance your knowledge on a variety of subjects.

Hyve Group has recruited several industry leaders to deliver effective keynotes.  Take advantage of the speaker sessions to learn more about:

  • The future of the education industry

  • Learning and teaching technology

  • Management and leadership

  • Much more!

Each of the five solution zones will host sessions on their industry subcategory. More information on the speaks and sessions available will be released closer to the time.
