LSA role to begin immediately, within a Specialist SEMH school for boys who have been excluded from their mainstream education. All will have an EHCP and a range of need, they have all been tragically let down by the adult world. As a result, empathy and patience are key in this role, the seeds you plant to aid students in their behaviour and recovery, you will not often get to see grow. It's a long process and there are not any magic answers or miracle cures.

Ideal role if you are an Aspiring Youth, Social or Criminal Justice Officer - Drama and the Creative Arts will transfer well here. The focus here is on Mental Health and Restorative Practices. The curriculum is designed in such a way that it is not rejected by the boys, there are reasons why the mainstream education did not engage, huge creative elements at play. Hairdressing, Gaming, an interest and passion for PE and the Performing Arts will be a huge advantage here.
