Smile Education are proud to support a new Primary School in Lichfield, who are urgently seeking an After School Assistant to support with their after-school wrap around care!  

 

About the role:

  • This is an ongoing temporary role.  
  • This is a part-time role. Working hours are 3pm-6pm, working Monday-Friday.  
  • You will mainly be working with children in an early years setting.
  • Rate of pay: £11-£13 per hour, depending on experience.
  • Start date: ASAP.
 

This is the role for you if you are someone who has previous/recent experience working with children. You will also be required to have a relevant First Aid or Food Hygiene qualification.

 

Your responsibilities:
  • You will assist in ensuring that a safe and stimulating play environment is maintained.
  • You will also engage with the children in all aspects of activities and conversation.
  • You will be responsible at times for meeting and greeting children’s parents/guardians and providing feedback on their child’s activities at the club.
  • You will ensure that snack times are supervised appropriately.
