An exciting specialist school in Reading rated 'Outstanding' by Ofsted provide high quality, holistic care to students from 3 years old all the way to 16. They are actively recruiting for Specialist Behaviour Support Workers with a Psychology or Criminology graduate background. Specialism in Autism is desirable, but not essential.

The role:

  • SEN Behaviour Support Worker.
  • Autism Special Free School
  • £75 a day
  • Full time: 8:30 -4:30
  • Psychology and Criminology graduates wanted (similar subjects will be considered).

This Specialist Provision school are looking for a recent Psychology graduate to engage in restorative practices with young people who have conditions across the spectrum of Complex Need. The successful applicant will be responsible for supporting students with both conscious and sub conscious triggers, verbal and nonverbal, high function and low functioning, and significant anit social behavioural issues.

This will be a fantastic opportunity to gain valuable insight into the psychology of some of the most vulnerable members of society for aspiring clinical Psychologists. Those looking to gain experience working with challenging behaviour ahead of pursuing a career in social work will also
