Job role: Behaviour mentor
Salary: £60-£70 per day
A primary school in the lovely Clifton area of Bristol are looking for a new behaviour mentor to join them for a full-time role. The school is easily accessible by public transport, and with it being such a nice area it will always be a nice trip to work in the mornings!
The school has a great team of welcoming staff who are committed to ensuring the pupils get the most out of their education and their time at the school. If you are a motivating, inspiring and positive and would like to also help a child with social, emotional, and mental health needs, (SEMH), this could be the perfect role for you. Not every child has the best start in life, but this role would allow you to dramatically improve their life now, their time in school and the child’s overall wellbeing and happiness. As you will be working very closely with a child, you will be able to see their progress immediately, making this role a very rewarding role.
The role will be working 1:1 with an outgoing KS2 child with social, emotional, and mental health needs. This will be both classroom and outside based, giving the child the extra support in the classroom, providing extra SEMH activities and creating exciting new things outside. A day outside could be a range of activities, for example, creating an insect house or making flowerbeds out of recycled materials. The beauty of this job alongside having a great impact on the child is that no day is the same, therefore creating a fun and fresh environment every day.
As well as constant support from the staff at the school, we as Teaching Personnel will support you all the way along your new journey in this role.
