Behaviour Support Assistant – Tameside
A school in Tameside is seeking are looking for a member of staff to join their behaviour team, the role will consist of being a behaviour support assistant where you will be consistently monitoring and controlling the behaviour in accordance with policies that can be installed by the schools SLT.
This role could be seen as a challenge for some applicants; however, it is an extremely rewarding opportunity working and have a substantial impact on student development. The successful applicant will be working with a wide variety of students that have additional SEN needs, therefore prior experience working with students that have SEN needs.

Given the nature of this position, it is important to note that this role will involve having to deal with adverse and difficult situations. The required individual will be resilient in their approach, and will be able to think on their feet when dealing with tricky scenarios. Being able to quickly develop rapport both with students and with other staff will be essential in making a success of this role.
Regular training will be provided by the school. This opportunity will allow the applicant the chance to work with students from a variety of different backgrounds.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
