Our client secondary school located in Oldham wish to appoint a teaching assistant to support the learning and behaviour of their pupils.

If you have previous experience working within education and would like to gain a rewarding role within a secondary school this could be the ideal opportunity for you.

  • Full time teaching assistant position starting ASAP
  • Supporting a range of pupils to ensure they stay engaged within classes
  • Working on a 1:1 basis with pupils who display challenging behaviour
  • Temporary position through till the end of the academic year with possible permanent post from September  

Due to a gap within this schools support department, this 11-16 secondary school seek to appoint a confident and outgoing support assistant to support pupils who display challenging behaviour. This is a rewarding position whereby you will support individual pupils to help develop their learning and development.

The school wish to appoint a teaching assistant who;

  • Is able to build strong relationships with pupils and has previous experience working with secondary aged pupils
  • Has previous experience mentoring/supporting the learning of more challenging pupils
  • Is available to start ASAP on a full time basis
