Behavioural support assistant
Are you experienced in child counselling?
Do you have a background in psychology/behavioural support?
We are seeking experienced child behavioural support assistants to offer their support to children who struggle to give learning their full attention and may show cdhallenging behaviour in the classroom. You would supporting a number of primary schools in Norwich, working 1:1 and in small group sessions.
This role would be ideally suited to a candidate with a background in child psychology, care, SEN or coaching. You would be working with these children on a 1:1 basis, allowing them to talk about how they are feeling and it is your role to offer support, give guidance and reassurance to the pupils during this transitional period. You would also be running small group sessions for the pupils, which could include educational based games and sessions where the pupils can express how they are feeling in a safe and controlled environment.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
