Are you a recent graduate looking to pursue a career in the education sector? An exciting opportunity has arisen for cover supervisor work in the Sunderland area from September 2022.

Teaching Personnel are recruiting for a cover supervisor for secondary schools in the Sunderland area with several short and longer-term placements available. As a result, this role would suit somebody that is flexible and versatile. The role of a cover supervisor provides experience of classroom support without the requirement to complete planning, marking, or assessment work.

Job specifications:

• Required from September 2022
• Paid £73-£85 per day (dependent on experience)
• Supporting pupils aged 11-16 in a variety of lessons

The incoming cover supervisor will be providing classroom support across Key Stage 3 and GCSE with a level of dynamism and adaptability to be able to assist in a variety of different lessons.

Candidate requirements:

• Graduate-level qualification
• No formal teaching qualifications required – a Child Only DBS will be required (we can help you apply)
• Passion for education
• Hardworking and reliable
