ARE YOU AN EARLY CAREER TEACHER AND LOOKING FOR A ROLE IN A SEN PROVISION?
Teaching Personnel are working closely with the headteacher of an all-inclusive specialist provision in the Burnley area. This provision provides support to children who have been identified to have Autism (ASC) aged 2-19. If you are an enthusiastic Early Career Teacher with the stamina to best meet the children’s needs, this may be the role for you!
As an SEN teacher your main role will be to teach and practise skills, i.e. social skills and to assist the children with the academic work. It is important that a sound understanding of current issues around supporting children with ASC is prevalent in practise. Implementing sensory, visual, and physical aids may need to be introduced to accommodate the children. It is paramount that a positive partnership with other adults in the classroom and outside agencies is created to work collaboratively.

This role is active from September 2022 on a temp to perm basis. The pay is subject to experience and availability on the scale from £100 - £140 per day. This is a full-time contract from Monday – Friday.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
