Early Years Teaching Assistant

Here at Smile Education, we are currently working alongside a Solihull primary school to assist in the recruitment of an Early Years TA with a start date from November 2021. The position provides the applicant with many rewarding and challenging opportunities within their occupancy and the chance to progress within the school.

Successful candidates will be working with an Ofsted rated good school; candidates’ main responsibilities will be assisting the teaching and learning materials on both a small group and on a 1:1 basis.

This is an exciting role for those looking to further the knowledge and provide an impactful experience to pupils; candidates will have the opportunity to develop themselves in both a personal and professional manner.

The school is in proximity to Shirley, Bentley Heath, Knowle and Elmdon Heath; There are also excellent links to public transport for easy commuting.

To be successful in your application, you should have experience in one or more of the following:

  • Hold a relevant UK teaching qualification with Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience with working with young children (either in a group setting or a 1:1 basis).
  • Able to travel to and from the Birmingham area.
  • Good understand or phonics and phonics teaching.
  • Able to do everything they can to ensure children are being given the highest quality of education possible.
