Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting for an English Teacher to join one of our exciting and diverse client schools in Manchester from September 2024. Based on positive performance, there will be opportunities to be placed onto a permanent school contract.

Throughout this role, you will earn a salary in line with your Teacher Pay Scale (between £30,000 and £46,525 per annum/ M1 to UPS3).

ECTs will be considered for this position.

This will be a full-time role and is due to begin in September 2024 and will remain for the entire academic year.  

Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging English lessons that cater to the needs of students at various levels.
  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere that promotes active participation and student engagement.
  • Assess student progress through formative and summative assessments.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum materials and teaching strategies.
  • Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff members.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in education or related field.
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK.
  • Proven experience teaching English at the secondary level.
  • Strong knowledge of the UK National Curriculum for English.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
