An SEN Specialist School just outside of Cambridge is currently looking for an experienced EYFS Teacher to start in the new academic year. This is an Area Special School which caters for children and young people aged 3 to 19 who have a range of complex and significant learning needs. Needs of the pupils vary from cognitive and learning difficulties, autistic spectrum condition and those with complex physical and sensory impairments. All pupils at this education facility are provided with an exciting, balanced education plan designed to meet their individual education needs. The school has a strong commitment to preparing young people for adulthood and focuses not only on the academic progress of its pupils, but on their independence, social and emotional skills too.
For this role you will need:
- QTS and experience teaching EYFS
- Previous experience within SEN or an interest in building a career in SEN
- Experience dealing with challenging behaviour
- A compassionate attitude and calming demeanour
Responsibilities: You will be expected to plan and deliver engaging lessons to EYFS pupils with various special educational needs. You will also be expected to monitor, record and report attainment, development and progress.
The school are looking for someone who is available to start in September 2022 on a full-time basis.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
