We are currently looking for  to work within a primary school in the LE9 area.


This role will be Monday to Friday 8.20 -15.30 and will be commence on the 6th June and will finish before christmas.

Teaching Personnel are currently looking for an EYFS trained TA/ Nursery Nurse to work with an EYFS class and a nursery. This will be within a primary school in the LE9 area.

This position is due to start after half term on the 6th June and is up until christmas. The postion will be Monday to Friday 8.20 - 15.30.

Job Title: Teaching Assistant/Nursery Nurse

Salary: £13,000 - £14,500 per annum dependent on experience

Hours: Maximum of 35 hours per week, term time only - Permanent part time, full time and sessional available.

Location: Leicestershire

Function of role:

To support and maintain a high level of learner engagement through collaborative preparation and delivery of an innovative, creative and flexible curriculum. To use a collaborative and multi-agency holistic approach to delivering an education provision which includes attention to health and safety awareness, risk management and the safeguarding of young people.

Accountabilities:

Act in accordance with the organisation’s guidelines under the guidance of the designated Provision Manager and adhere to the organisation’s Equal Opportunities and Diversity policy.

Being an advocate on behalf of your students in your class, whilst encouraging their involvement and engagement within the seassion in the classroom. In addition, assisting the class teacher with the assessment, preparation, delivery and review of a learner’s curriculum including contributions to lesson plans. 

Be aware of ALL safeguarding procedures on a day to day basis, and adhering to these at all times.

Be responsible for all aspects of learner health and safety, informing the designated Learning Manager of any accidents or identified risks, and using the significant incident reporting form appropriately. Support the Learning Manager to ensure venues used are appropriate and risk assessed, and that Health and Safety guidance supplied by the company is adhered to.

Appointment to this post is subject to an enhanced Disclosure & Barring Service check.
