Our client secondary school in Newcastle is looking to appoint a successful Food Technology Teacher for a January start. The ideal candidate for this Food Technology  role will have a proven track record of attainment, excellent subject knowledge and a genuine passion for educating young people.

The role:

  • Full time Food Technology teaching role
  • The school is situated in Newcastle and is accessible from surrounding areas
  • The role commences January until at least May 2022
  • Pay between £120 to £213 per day depending on experience and duties (after 12 weeks you will be paid to an equivalent scale)
  • Experienced teachers and NQTs welcome to apply

Candidate criteria:

  • Food Technology specialist with experience teaching KS3-KS4
  • Must hold a UK recognised QTS
  • Good classroom management
  • Have a valid ‘Child Workforce only’ DBS registered on the DBS Update Service (or be willing to apply for one - we can help you get that)
