This opportunity is ideal for recent graduates considering a career in teaching within a secondary school in Salford.

  • Full-time Graduate Teaching Assistant positions.

Teaching Personnel has developed a ‘Future Teachers’ Programme specifically for graduates interested in teaching. The programme provides graduates with one year of paid experience in one of our client secondary schools in Salford as a cover supervisor or teaching assistant before continuing to a teacher training course.

Our client secondary schools in Salford are looking to commence the ‘Future Teachers Programme’ on a full-time basis as soon as possible and will be guaranteed for a full year. This programme will provide graduates with invaluable skills and experience necessary to become a successful teacher and will also support securing a position on an upcoming teacher training programme.

Candidates enrolled on to the ‘Future Teachers’ programme will be expected to work as a teaching assistant and cover supervisor working with small groups of students in need of extra support in subjects specific to your degree.

Previous experience working with children and young people is desirable but not necessary as full training will be provided.
