Are you passionate about your subject and your classroom practice? This is the role for you! Teaching Personnel works in partnership with secondary schools in the Farnborough area, who are seeking to employ a Teacher of History for April or September 2021 on a temporary to permanent basis for the right candidate.  NQT’s of History and other Humanities are encouraged to apply, as well as more experienced teachers.

The successful Teacher of History will have exciting opportunities to develop innovative teaching and learning across the curriculum area for KS3 and KS4.  You will work alongside the other staff within the department to develop the curriculum, schemes of learning, new assessments, and innovative pedagogical practice.  This is an ideal opportunity for a passionate NQT or more experienced teacher of History to further their career and enthuse students. 

Ideally you will:

  • Be a consistently good teacher, passionate about your subject                                              
  • Have a keen interest in developing History across the curriculum                                                
  • Have fun and fully embrace the wide range of professional learning opportunities
  • Strong in subject knowledge
  • Engage, motivate and enthuse students of all levels

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
