History Teacher

Teaching personnel are seeking a motivated and committed history specialist teacher to cover key stage 3 and key stage 4 temporarily with the potential of extending to a permanent position. This position requires commitment of full-time, 5 days a week (Monday – Friday) with the potential of flexibility if it’s the right candidate.

This role includes:

• Educating key stage 3 and key stage 4 students in a variety of settings; including teaching in the classroom, mentoring students 1:1, and leading small groups.
• Planning and preparation and marking for each class.
• Report, feedback and review pupil progress and behaviour.
• Maintain the school’s ethos and maintain the standards and policies that the school keep – including following the correct safeguarding protocol

The successful candidate will:

• Have experience teaching history in secondary schools
• Have a drive and passion to educate, motivate and mentor students
• Honour the schools start times and break times and have flexibility to work on various events.
• Have a QTS in secondary education

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
