Salary - £22,000-£25,000

Teaching Personnel have an exciting opportunity to work with an exceptional school based in Finsbury. The school are looking for a Individual Needs Assistant to provide one to one support students with diverse needs, including those with special educational needs (SEN), disabilities, or other barriers to learning. The role involves working closely with teachers, parents, and other professionals to create an inclusive and supportive learning environment.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Assisting children with assessed additional needs in teaching and non-teaching activities.
  • Providing additional requirements to children.
  • Attending to children's personal needs, including health, hygiene, and minor first aid.
  • Establishing good relationships with pupils and promoting inclusion and acceptance.
  • Modifying instruction plans based on individual student needs.
  • Monitoring and tracking student progress.
  • Providing support for students with physical, emotional, and behavioural difficulties.

Qualifications

  • Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification
  • Experience within Primary/Secondary schools
  • Experience with SEN, SEMH and Autism.

This school is based in Brighton. Parking will be available on site.
