Join the IT department of a small secondary school in Bury known for its recent track record of progressing results.

  • Full-time IT teacher.
  • Required from January 2021 until July 2021 in the first instance.
  • Paid to teaching scale (£24,373 - £40,490).
  • Supporting pupils across Key Stage 3 and GCSE.

The incoming teacher will be expected to plan, prepare and deliver differentiated IT lessons to pupils across Key Stage 3 and GCSE. The member of staff will be taking on a full teaching timetable and will also be expected to take on full planning and marking responsibilities.

The school has interactive whiteboards in most classrooms with several computer suites located throughout the building. Pupils also have access to laptops which can be used both inside and outside lessons for class and homework assignments.

To be considered for this role, you must have experience teaching IT to pupils up to GCSE level alongside QTS.

The school is located in Bury and is easily accessible via the M66 and A56 from surrounding areas such as Bolton and Prestwich. For applicants who don’t drive, our client academy can also be accessed via public transport from areas surrounding Greater Manchester such as Bolton, Leigh and central Manchester.
