At Teaching Personnel, we are working with a school based in Banbury, Oxford. This school is a non-maintained charitable incorporated organisation specialising in day and residential education and care for high functioning students with ASC (10-19 years). Currently, they are looking for a KS2/3 teache who is wiling to operate a primary model class for KS2 and KS3 students and possibly core subject teaching (English, Maths and Science to lower ability students across the school).

They are looking a full-time qualified teacher join to work with their special needs (specifically autism) students. Experience working with SEN is desirable for this role. 

What are we looking for in the successful candidate?

  • Experience working with SEN students or in a school setting
  • Ability to effectively plan and deliver lessons
  • Resilient to a challenge with problem solving skills
  • Provide support for pupils ensuring their safety and access to learning activities
  • Promote self confidence and set individual tailored goals and challenges

Relevant Qualifications:

  • QTS / PGCE
  • Enhanced child DBS on the update service (we are able to provide an application if this has expired)
  • Safeguarding training (we are able to provide a free course if needed)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
