A Primary Pupil Referral Unit in Bolton are looking to recruit a Learning Mentor to start in October. The school have had a large influx of children enrol for the upcoming academic year so extra staff will be needed. The successful Learning Mentor will be offered a temporary to permanent contract. The school use this method of offering a contract as a probation period to ensure that they have the correct educators for the job. The school caters for various additional needs such as; ADHD, ASC and Social and Emotional Difficulties. 

The school is an Ofsted Good School; you will be working on a full time basis which can lead to opportunities to progress to a permanent position.

The school has designated parking and good transport links. Located in Bolton and is easily accessible from Manchester and good transport links for non drivers. This Good school has a supportive ethos. The successful Learning Mentors will be supporting students with various learning difficulties. 

  • Prior experience working with SEN
  • Assisting day to day classroom support and assisting with behaviour
  • Students age range 4-16
  • Developing good relationships with pupils
  • Encouraging students to interact with other students within the classroom and activities led by the teacher
