Learning Support Assistant

Teaching Personnel

£300 - 350 per week + via PAYE


Temporary | Full Time



With schools returning fully on the 8th of March, we have a number of schools needing a huge amount of staff to help assist the children return back to their normal routine. We work with a range of schools including Primary, Secondary and SEN so if you have any previous experience within these setting we want to hear from you!

Your role will be to support children and young people on a 1:1 and small group basis to ensure they feel comfortable and confident in their learning. This is an incredibly rewarding role with results apparent everyday, you have the chance to see each child grow and develop. You will work alongside other staff members in the classroom to encourage positive behaviours, contribute positively to the educational surroundings and always ensure a safe and secure environment.

What do you need to have? 

  • Experience working with young people or children
  • Highly organised and be able to think on your feet due to the nature of a supply role
  • Enthusiastic, with a hardworking ethos
  • The ability to inspire and engage young people
  • DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply for one)
  • Experience working with SEN or vulnerable individuals

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
